September 2007

A lot going on at Chez Lovely here–in a weird state of flux.

No knitting. Well not much, since it turned my arms into mush, so I’m going to try to do something about it by taking a class taught by the amazing Annie Modesitt. I’m very excited about her combination knitting and look forward to trying it out and hopefully it will be easier on my arms that what I’m going now.

BTW, if you aren’t familiar with Annie, please check out her blog. She’s amazing! And buy her convertible dress pattern to help raise money for Gerry! Yeah!

Wish me luck on that.

But of course I must push it with tennis lessons–two a week, and two Devil-Ette practices every week for September. So I don’t think I’ll be doing much of anything for awhile.

I am behind posts. So expect to see posts this week on:

  • My trip to Bodega Bay
  • What has been added to the knitting wish list
  • My mad cooking skills (two days of cooking–four soups and two meals. Oof!)
  • Other crazy wild high jinks to boot

And thanks for being patient with me. I’m just so darn tired!

Oh, but I did finally get my Ravelry invitation. Yeah, I’m like that last person on the face of the earth to get on the Ravelry bus, but hey, at least I’m on now. I can’t wait to check it out.

But I will leave you all with this: I’m obsessed with the show Weeds on Showtime. Brilliant!

But busy. Oh so busy!

I hope you all had a lovely long weekend. E and I spent it up in Bodega Bay getting a bit of time to catch our breath from this loopy summer.

But more later, my sweets. I’ll post a Bodega Bay weekend update soon.
