Well, I’m already back at work! Wow, maternity leave was long and yet went by so fast.

But it’s good to be back at work.  I must admit that I forgot the subtle charms of talking to adults and conversing about things other than poop.  Oh, brain, how I’ve missed you so! Although I  miss nap-time with the Peach and so many of those other small beautiful moments that made up the day (which I won’t think about or I’ll start to cry) I think am a person that needs to work for mental, emotional, as well as financial reasons. Being a stay at home mom is the toughest thing in the world and my hats go off to everyone one of you ladies that make it look so darn easy.

But my return to work couldn’t happen without the help of my family. Although it has been only one day and I’m sure there will be bumps and mistakes along the way, I am sure we’ll get the hang of it.

Mr. Sweetie earns his name every morning with  taking the first shower so I can get those most precious extra 15 minutes of sleep.

And of course there is Auntie Jen who drops her off at daycare so we can get to our jobs extra early so we can come home extra early to be with the Peach.
